What is Wired That Way?

Wired That Way are live, in-person, interactive seminars offered for private groups and community gatherings looking for engaging, practical, and meaningful options for an event or gathering.

Like DISC, Wired That Way is based on the classic four temperaments, but its focus is on everyday life and relationships rather than the workplace. Using the classic terms, it helps people better understand themselves and others while giving them practical insight and tools for stronger communication and healthier dynamics across all types of relationships.

The Signature Seminar

Understanding Others by Understanding Yourself
A clear and engaging stand-alone introduction to the four classic temperament styles and how they shape everyday life and relationships. This session is typically presented over 2 hours and includes a short mid-session break. Optional personal assessments are available separately for a small additional cost per participant.

Specialty sessions

In addition to the Signature Seminar, specialty sessions are also offered for groups that want to explore a specific topic more closely through the lens of the four temperaments. These include:

A highly interactive, activity-based workshop that follows the Signature Seminar and is often paired with it for full-day events and retreats. Building on the core concepts introduced, this hands-on experience uses group exercises, guided discussion, and real-life application to reinforce learning and deepen understanding and connection.

A focused session applying temperament insights to improve understanding and communication in marriage.

♦️ Parenting
A practical training that helps parents recognize temperament styles in themselves and their children, and respond with greater understanding and encouragement.

A session exploring how each temperament approaches spending, saving, financial stress, and decision-making.

A faith-based session exploring how our God-given temperaments influence the way we live out our faith, engage in community, worship, study Scripture, and more.

A compassionate session examining how different temperaments process loss and receive support.

♦️ The Holidays
A holiday session looking at how each temperament experiences traditions, expectations, and the season itself.

Personal Assessments

A Wired That Way personal assessment is a simple, hard-copy temperament-based questionnaire designed to help individuals identify their natural, inborn wiring. It highlights primary and secondary tendencies and includes insight into core motivations, communication patterns, strengths, and potential blind spots.

Assessments are optional and available for any session, and are highly recommended. They are purchased separately ($10 each) and provide meaningful personal insight that enhances the overall learning experience.
